The Marion High School boys soccer team notched its first win of the season Thursday night with a 2-0 victory over Pinckneyville at Wildcat Stadium. Chase Banks, a freshman, scored both of Marion's goals with assists going to Zachary Underwood and Gavin Vickers. Marion is now 1-3-1 on the young season. The Wildcats were to play at home again last night (Tuesday) against Anna-Jonesboro. Marion next travels to Belleville Althoff on Thursday and doesn't play again until Sept. 19 at home against Centralia.
